How to make an appointment

To request a routine appointment Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 am – 6:30pm:

  • phone us To book a routine or emergency appointment on 020 8539 3232 (our phone lines are diverted to the GP Hub on Thursday afternoons but practice doors remain open)
  • visit Pharmacy First – for common health problems which does not require being seen by a nurse or doctor. Medication is free if you do not pay for your prescriptions

If you can’t wait and urgently need to speak to a GP please use NHS 111 – you can visit 111.nhs.uk or call 111 if you don’t have online access, for help and advice, including booking you an appointment out of hours.

Please note that we do not book appointments via email.


Out of Hour Appointments

We provide face-to-face GP, nursing and Health Care Assistant (HCA) appointments in the evenings and on Saturday for all patients within the Waltham Forest Integrated Primary Care Network.

These appointments are held at The Allum Medical Centre, Fairlop Road, E11 1BN.

Non-urgent advice: Please note

These are bookable only via telephone or in-person at your registered GP.  NHS 111 is also able to book in the afternoons for same-day bookings. 

We are unable to take in walk-ins on the day.

Times

  • Monday to Friday: 6.30pm to 8pm
  • Saturday: 9am to 5pm

Available Appointments

GP: Appointments are the same as appointments at your registered GP, so they will review, discuss, issue medication and refer or arrange tests as necessary.

Appointments are currently limited to smears and childhood immunisations. 
Appointments are for NHS Health Checks and blood pressure checks. This will be expanded soon to include evening phlebotomy appointments.
