Repeat Prescriptions

Requests for repeat prescriptions will not be accepted over the telephone for your own safeguard. 48 hours notice is required by prescription counterfoil, letter, fax or in person.

Patient Confidentiality

We follow strict confidentiality protocol. Only the practice staff have access to patient records. No information is divulged, except to respective patients or relatives and other bonafide parties, with patients consent.

Test Results

Test results are not given over the telephone for confidentiality reasons. You are advised to make an appointment approximately a week after the tests are carried out, so that the doctor/ nurse can discuss these with you. Please check with the receptionist beforehand if the results are back.

Emergencies

Ring as soon as possible for genuine emergencies. We will try to fit you in between the appointments or at the end of surgery. However, please be prepared to wait. Telephone advise is available during Surgery hours. Emergency service outside hours is operated by Waltham Forest PCT via PELC. The out of hours emergency number is 0845 075 0494

Registration

Patients wishing to register with Hampton Medical Centre must first call and book an appointment with our reception staff. Unless in urgent cases when registration will be effected on the same day. We reserve the right to refuse registration to any patients, so please be polite and respectful to our staff.

Making an appointment

To make an appointment please call 020 8539 3232 between 08:30 – 18:00 on Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 08:30 – 19:45 on Wednesday and 08:30 – 13:30 on Thursday. For more details on Surgery hours click here

 

When registering with our surgery or attending an appointment we ask that you follow our three very reasonable and simple requests…

  1. To bring your medical card to every surgery attendance.
  2. To always remember to cancel you appointment if you cannot keep it.
  3. To always be polite and respectful to the Practice staff. This will help them to help you and make them want to help you.
We must reiterate that we feel that these requests are very reasonable and we kindly ask that you fulfill them.
